My role at Waterstons is...
Is working on the Infrastructure & Network team, we primarily look after the Servers, and Network Side of our Customers Businesses, this includes monitoring the servers, network hardware, like switches and Routers, Check the sites have access to the Internet, make sure the servers are up to dates with Patches and keep domain name Certificates are up to date. We work alongside the other Support teams to make sure our customers get the best possible service.
My life away from work is...
Outside of work my time is spent with my family and Pets, I am a huge animal lover and have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 2 corn snakes and a Pygmy Hedgehog. I am also a gamer and spend time online with my friends. I am often found joining one of my Friends on his Twitch streams helping people complete some of the harder parts of our favourite games. I also enjoy Movies and Reading, and my favourite Genres are Sci-fi, Action and Horror.

Whenever your network is having issue and will often be working on Proactive alerts that make us aware of potential problems before they impact your service, When a major network problem impacts all of your sites or network I will be one of the people working on the major incident to get the problem resolved asap.

Are currently around Server Management, this involves checking Drive Space Alerts, Updates, and Certificates. However I am starting training to manage and support Amazon Web Services (AWS) and will be looking to move into a more Cloud Technology based Specialisation.
